Taylor Chip, LLC - CTA Rewrite

I wanted to create a quick case study addressing the Call-to-Action button on the homepage of my favorite online cookie company in NJ, “Taylor Chip”!

Problem: Confusing CTA.
It gives two choices to click on to get to the proper area to either order cookies online to have them shipped, or how to order cookies from their store front shop.

For placing an order to get them shipped, the CTA says “Nationwide Shipping”. The other, “Pickup or Doordash”.
I still find myself pausing before selecting the right one.

Hypothesis/ GOAL: I believe that by making a clearer CTA, the customer will get to the ordering page faster, without the possibility of pausing, thus leading to more conversions.

First: checked to see if there was anything about the site design getting in the way.
Then: In order to determine how I could change the verbiage of “Nationwide Shipping”, I started by asking two questions:

Question#1: “What does the user need?”
Answer: they want Taylor Chip cookies.

and

Question #2 “How do they want to get the cookies?”
Answer: they want cookies mailed to their home since they’re not local to NJ.

Solution:
Changing the CTA verbiage of “Nationwide Shipping” to “Mail Cookies to Me”, something more personal to the user.

First revision:
while I thought that would work, further research showed that previous studies have proved that users respond much more to CTAs that use two words or less. “Mail cookies”.

Second revision: : not satisfied, I’ll push it to three words: “Ship To Me” (shown below) seems to make the most sense.
