Brief:
Project description: Re-release of both the Arp 2600 semi-modular synthesizer, and the Korg MS-20 announcement.
Objectives: What is it you need this to do?
Get keyboardists/ producers/ musicians to buy these updated, modern versions.Target audience: Who exactly are you appealing to?
Keyboardists, producers, guitarists.Call to action: What do you want your audience to do as a result? Buy.
Tone and style: What kind of vibe do you want this piece to have? Conversational.
Customer pain points: What are the audience trying to escape? But also what annoys them along the way?
The audience is trying to escape making all of their music exclusively on computers. A hands-on approach to composing and performing.Barriers to purchase: What influences their decision to buy? What might make them say no? The price. The original analog versions of these boards are still available on the used market, but at an incredible markup (because of their rarity). We’re offering new technology at a more reasonable price.
Idea: Korg is one of the biggest and most iconic names in synthesizers. And with the tremendous wave of interest in older style, hands-on analog keyboards, we want to capitalize on this by reviving these two classics!
Goal: the goal here was to not only excite the older generation of musicians that’re already familiar with these, but excite the younger generation who may not be as familiar with these beasts, but convince them of how essential these can be to any studio or live arsenal.
